Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope you are all well, and your child is enjoying the Summer vacation.
Just a quick update to give a shout-out to our Year 13 IB Diploma students who received their results yesterday evening. Despite a really difficult couple of years, 100% of our students passed the IB Diploma! This is an outstanding achievement considering the COVID-related challenges and the levels of disruption and uncertainty that our students faced. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our parents, teachers and staff for the support they have shown our students, to help secure this success.
Our students achieved some outstanding overall results with 44% of students achieving in the 40 to 45 range, and 75% scoring in the 35 to 45 range. Five students achieved a maximum of 45, 13 students achieved a 44 and 17 students achieved a 43! We now eagerly await the results of our BTEC Diploma students who are also predicted to do exceptionally well.
These results will help to provide the opportunity for students to attend their university and course of choice, both here in Hong Kong or around the world. I know our Higher Education team is working with students over the coming weeks, to support any further questions regarding university application processes.
We wish our graduating Year 13 students all the best in the future.
Kind Regards,
Mark Blackshaw
