ESF All Stars Vs DASSA
On Wednesday 4th December, ESF All-stars teams competed against DASSA, a touring select team from Dubai. The teams competed in U15 division and involved Boys and Girls Football, Girls Volleyball and Boys and Girls Basketball. This was the first edition of this competition and it is hoped this will become an annual event on the ESF sports calendar.
Football
The football matches were played at KGV and were closely fought. The girls match was even throughout and a 2-2 scoreline at halftime was a fair reflection on the game. However, DASSA finished the stronger team and prevailed 5-3.
The boys game was also very closely fought, with ESF scoring late in the match to tie the game 5-5. Penalties were then taken to find a winner, with ESF winning 3-2.
Well done to the following players who represented ESF all stars.
Girls Football
Yasmin Hargrave-Silk
Katie Lee
Boys Football
Yaffy Kostov
Juan Shaiju

Aarav Saxena
A special mention must go to Luke Hoshi who was selected to represent DASSA for boys football, playing a great game and forming a good bond with the DASSA players.
Volleyball
The girls volleyball matches were closely fought with each set going into the 20s for both teams. Unfortunately DASSA had the edge in these games and won the fixture 3-0.
Well done to the following KGV volleyballers who were involved.
Emmy Hodes
Gemma Yeung
Maya Chu
Basketball
The DASSA teams proved to be far too strong in basketball. They had some big players in their teams and the ESF teams struggled to get into the game. The DASSA girls team won their match 38-11, an the DASSA boys winning 57-22
Well done to the following boys who represented ESF Basketball
